ABOUT OUR STORE

Country Corner is not your typical Antique Mall.  Owned and operated by Karen White, over 80% of the items in the store are hand selected by Karen. Traveling both nationally and internationally, Karen has selected items from places as far away as Europe, Australia and New Zealand as well as from California to Maine.  She also leases a few spaces to select dealers to enhance the selection available in the store.  Two of the most favorite are the large vintage toy area as well as the vintage radios and related items.

Karen began collecting antiques in the early 1980s after inheriting two family antiques.  She was also encouraged by a friend who loved and collected advertising tins.  It proved to be a natural fit.  She searches far and wide for items that are a “one of a kind”, knowing that it will take just the right person to give it a good home.    

Karen has a degree in Housing and Interior Design from Oklahoma State University.   The evidence of that is seen in many of the displays throughout the store.  People often comment on how well items are displayed.

Visitors from all over the world have visited Country Corner.  We frequently have people from Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Asia and South America.  It is one of the most enjoyable parts of owning the store.
